Completed Job for Basement Water Loss in Shelby, NC

  • Completion Date: June 28, 2019
  • Location: Shelby, NC

Why did the customer contact us?

This client discovered standing water in her basement, which she originally assumed was caused by the heavy rain her area had received over the last several days. Upon further investigation, she found the toilet bowl leaking in the basement bathroom. Because the basement was primarily used for storage, several items were at risk of being lost to water damage.

Solutions provided:

A project manager was dispatched to scope the job site and confirm the cause of the water loss. Once this was determined, proper mitigation work began. First, contents were moved out of the basement so that all standing water could be extracted. Baseboards and shoe moldings were removed and equipment put in place to dry out all flooring and drywall. Minor mold remediation also took place. Once everything was fully dried, the baton was passed to our reconstruction team.
