American Restoration's emergency response team arrived on-site on the same day as the loss. Our crew started by extracting water - a process that lasted into the early morning hours of the following day. Once the water was extracted, another crew delivered fans, generators, and dehumidifers to begin drying out the facility. At the same time, the board-up team tarped and secured the roof until it was ready to be repaired. Once the property was dried and secured, our team began cleaning smoke and soot from the walls and ceilings of the production floor. This involved using specialized cleaners, scissors lifts, and a very sharp eye for detail.

Once our crew arrived on site, the Project Manager inspected the area. Then he and his team immediately began the water extraction process. After all standing water was removed, our team placed blocks underneath the homeowner's storage tubs and undamaged items, making sure there were no spots where moisture could hide and cause mold issues down the road. Dehumidifers and drying fans were installed to finish the drying process, while our crew pulled out all wet paneling and insulation from the area. When the basement was completely dry, our team cleaned and swept the floors, and passed the baton to the reconstruction crew.

Our team arrived on site the same day and began working on the demolition and decontamination of the site. All sewage, water, and damaged carpet was removed and the affected area was disinfected. Special equipment was put in place to dry and dehumidify the area to prevent any more moisture damage from occurring in the building.
